The LookOut will be on a temporary hiatus while dealing with some thorny Real Life Stuff. Hopefully, things will be sorted out by Monday so I can go back to providing you all with the important Haiku Reviews, incessant 'shipping, geekery and smart-assery that you've all come to know and tolerate.
In the meanwhile, please make me smile by answering the following questions:
1. First comic book you ever read?
2. Favorite comic book superhero? Supervillain?
3. Favorite comic book couple?
4. How long have you been collecting comics?
5. Most importantly, who would win in a fight - Squirrel Girl or Batman?
At least I'm not as bad off as Batman. Wayne Industries must have tanked because the poor guy is now dancing for spare change:
Clearly, the man is troubled. I think his long slide into darkness began when he started hitting the OJ. Rest assured, I won't be making the same mistake.
Have a good weekend all and I hope to blog at you again soon.

Ok, I'll bite.
l...first comic book you ever read?
A battered copy of Asterix,in the Doctor's office. The first one that I bought was a John Buscema/Roy Thomas copy of Avengers, that had Thor on the cover. I liked his hair.
2...favorite comicbook superhero? Supervillain?
Well, Green Lanterns I suppose, and Guy Gardner is my favorite, but any Green Lantern will do in a pinch. For best villain, I rather like Dr. Polaris. Too bad he's dead. Or IS he?
3...favorite comicbook couple?
Gosh, almost too many to say. I like Guy and Tora, Ralph and Sue Dibney,Beetle and Booster, Beetle and Oracle, Clark and Lois, Peter and Mary Jane, Barry and Iris, Wally and Linda, John and Katma, Jay and Joan...and so on and so forth.
4...how long have you been collecting comics?
For more than thirty years. Yes, I'm old. When I started, they were 20 cents, but went up to 25 cents shortly thereafter.
5...most importantly, who would win in a fight - Squirrel Girl or Batman?
Although I would of course be rooting heartily for Squirrel Girl, I fear that Batman would eventually win out. Afterall, Squirrel Girl is a rodent, while Batman is a FLYING Rodent! Also, he cheats.
1. I want to say it was an issue of Ghost Rider from the early 90s. I was like 5.
2. I'm into Thor, he's like Superman with a hammer and an accent. Does Jonah Hex count? I also really dig Thanos for some reason on the villain side, Galactus and Doom are up there too. Oh! Loki too. And Annihilus.
3. Volstagg and a dinner table.
4. About a year now. I have bad taste and enjoy Salvation Run and current continuity boggles me.
5. Squirrel Girl beat Doom. But then Batman beat Predator and Spawn and probably a few other crossovers I never bothered reading. Is it Batman? I think it's Batman.
1. First comic book you ever read?
I think it was A `Classic Comics' version of Treasure Island. Or maybe White Fang or Last Days of Pompei. My mum had them, and I cant quite remember which one I read first. Agter that would have been an Asterix comic they had at school. First suer hero one was an Uncanny X-men Issue: Warhunt 2 (where Thunderbird 2 kidnaps Banshee)
2. Favorite comic book superhero? The Beast
Supervillain? The Riddler
3. Favorite comic book couple?
Romantic: Miss Match & Captain Heroic. Platonic: Power Man & Iron Fist.
4. How long have you been collecting comics? 19 years
5. Most importantly, who would win in a fight - Squirrel Girl or Batman? The first time the meet? Squirrel Girl. After that, they'd team up. But if it came to a fight again Batman would be in with a shot.
