Tell Me Why I Don't Like Mondays

This may be a new low in keeping content fresh, even for me. Why? Because I'm devoting an entire post to remixes and alternate forms of Garfield - you know, ones that are actually funny. Amazing, no?

First off we have the wind beneath everyone's wings, The Garfield Randomizer. The many strangely hilarious Garfield recreations that have come since owe a debt of gratitude to this Dadaist creation. Here are a few of my creations, lovingly rendered for you:

Michael Gondry's The Science of Lasagna

H. P. Lovecraft's "To Skin A Cat" - a tale of implied unrelenting horror

The Ring 3 - Nine Lives

Secondly, we have Garfield Minus Garfield, the sad, touching story of one lonely man's descent into madness. I think the idea started out here where fans of A Softer World had the notion that if you make Garfield the cat a normal, silent cat, the pathos occurs naturally. This clever fellow just took it another step further. Please enjoy these tragic tales of loneliness and despair -

And ultimately, we arrive at Lasagna Cat, wherein some extremely demented comedians re-enact old Garfield strips in a live action format, then present a bizarre music video relating to the subject matter afterwards. The results vary from humorous to horrifying. See and judge for yourself if these precisely the sort tribute Mr. Jim Davies deserves:

So, really, just one question remains - what would happen if you gave Garfield Lasagna . . . on a Monday? Would the universe implode? I fear we shall never know.
